The 8th and my Irish Identity

The world still calls us Community-spirited, Welcoming, Charitable, Compassionate, Moral and Family-oriented.    A nation who gives a s**t!

These strengths are ingrained in our culture.  They form our identity as a nation. This is something we used to be proud of.  In a selfish world, it made us unique.

Repealing the 8th amendment will compromise the very essence of us.

  •       How can we be Community-spirited if our society doesn’t nurture our vulnerable women and their Irish babies?
  •       How can we be Welcoming if we don’t welcome All Irish babies?
  •       How can we be Charitable if we would rather help end lives than help to protect all Irish babies?
  •       How can we be Compassionate if convenience seems a better choice than providing care for Irish babies?
  •       How can we be Moral if our decisions end the lives of innocent Irish babies?
  •       How can we be Family-oriented if families no longer value their Irish babies?

Voting to remove the 8th amendment makes it clear you don’t really care about Irish babies!

If your Irish Identity matters to you, there is only one way you can vote; Keep the 8th amendment!

If you reject our most vulnerable Irish women and babies, can you really call yourself Irish?
